General Interior (All Rooms, Hallways, Stairs) Remove all personal belongings and trash: Ensure the property is completely empty. Remove cobwebs: Check corners and ceiling areas. Dust all surfaces: This includes ceiling fans, light fixtures and shades, vents, picture frames, and windowsills. Clean walls, doors, and frames: Wipe down all surfaces, removing scuff marks, fingerprints, and general dirt. You may need to patch small nail holes and touch up paint. Clean light switches and electrical outlets: Sanitize these high-touch areas. Clean windows and blinds: Wash internal windows, sills, and frames. Dust or wash blinds. Wipe down baseboards (skirting boards) and moldings: Pay attention to removing accumulated dust and marks. Clean closets and storage areas: Empty and wipe down the interiors of all cabinets, drawers, and wardrobes. Vacuum and mop floors: Vacuum all carpets and rugs thoroughly. Sweep and mop hard floors using an appropriate cleaner for the floor type. Consider professional carpet cleaning for heavy soiling or stains. Kitchen Appliances: Deep clean all appliances inside and out. Oven and stovetop: Degrease thoroughly, scrubbing racks, internal walls, and the hob. Refrigerator and freezer: Defrost, empty all contents, and wipe down all shelves, drawers, and seals. Microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine: Clean inside and out, including filters and detergent trays. Cabinets and drawers: Empty and wipe down all interior and exterior surfaces. Countertops and sink: Sanitize all work surfaces and backsplashes. Descale and polish the sink and taps. Bathrooms Toilet: Scrub and disinfect the toilet bowl, seat, lid, and exterior, including the pipes behind. Shower and bathtub: Remove all soap scum, limescale, and mould from tiles, grout, and glass screens. Sink and vanity: Clean the sink basin, polish the taps, and wipe down cabinets/shelving. Mirrors: Polish mirrors and glass surfaces until they are streak-free. Drains and fans: Clear hair and residue from floor drains and wipe down extractor fans.
