Dust from Top to Bottom: Begin with high areas like ceiling fans, light fixtures, and ceiling corners to remove cobwebs and built-up dust. Work your way down the walls, mirrors, window treatments, furniture, shelves, and decorative items. Clean Windows and Sills: Use a glass cleaner on windows and mirrors, and wipe down sills and frames to remove accumulated dirt. Wipe Down Surfaces: Use appropriate cleaners and disinfectants to wipe down all hard surfaces, including countertops, tables, cabinets (inside and out), and appliances. Sanitize High-Touch Areas: Pay special attention to frequently touched spots like doorknobs, light switches, remote controls, and cabinet handles using a disinfectant. Address Specific Room Tasks: Kitchen: Clean inside the oven, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. Scrub the stovetop, range hood, and sink, paying attention to grout and drains. Bathroom: Descale showerheads and faucets, scrub grout and tiles to remove soap scum and mold, and thoroughly disinfect the toilet, shower, and sink area. Clean out under the sink and organize medicine cabinets. Bedrooms/Living Areas: Vacuum upholstered furniture and underneath cushions, wash all bedding (including duvets and pillows), and vacuum/flip the mattress. Clean Floors Last: Sweep or vacuum all floors (including under furniture) to pick up all the debris that fell during the previous steps. Mop hard floors last, starting from the innermost corner and moving backward toward the exit.
